This album was recorded on May 21st, 2017. I set out to capture an improvised ambient performance. After setting up multiple microphones and input devices around my amplifier, I went for it. All said and done I ended up with roughly a 20-minute piece. My original thought was to release the entire thing start to finish, but after letting some time pass, it seemed less daunting and more interesting from a listeners perspective to chop up what I had smattered together. The six tracks presented here are snippets of the entire piece, coming at you in chronological order in which they were performed. Each track is a different grouping of microphones and inputs. There are no overdubs on this recording. All sounds were created by using the guitar as a sampling device, in which the sample was manually altered in real-time until a new sample took charge. I look forward to making more of these, I hope you enjoy it.
